I downloaded stylus but im not really sure what to do after that.
Click the stylus icon next to the adress bar (if you dont see it click the puzzle-piece-like icon in chrome and pin the app so it appears next to your other apps) then hit "administrate"(a new window will appear), then click "import" (at the bottom left) and select the css file in the .rar
Let me know how that went.
@Luis @keepwalking thats what i thought i had to do, but i get spinning wheel of death when i import the css file.
Try downloading the .rar file again, and use the .json file instead of the .css
(I might just mess up the installation instructions)
yeah now it works! i think it looks pretty good. Newgrounds has a nightmare of styles in terms of subtle font changes (weight, italics, font sizes, color, etc). Its been in my mind to re-invision / clean up that clutter. ONE DAY.
Thats something Ive spotted quite often when re-styling the site but my biggest concern is the lack of parent clasess for each section. You can easily customize an entire page with just 1 single parent class and plain html tags (if well structured... ofc) .
Anyway, glad you could get it to work!
@Luis @keepwalking i do like how you cleaned up that top menu up there. Hadnt noticed how much room the current one takes up
Less is more, luis! :)
@keepwalking Got it! Finding a workaround should be a fun challenge, then. Thanks!
@Luis hello luis :D

This is really cool! The tool grabbed my attention, too. I'd been looking for something like Stylus on and off for a while; I've spent the past couple of hours messing with it, wondering how much of the texture that I loved from the 2012 -2017-ish design I could get back in...I remember loving how the pages for each portal had their own color (i.e. movies were red, games were blue), too. It looks like content pages have metadata in the HTML to specify what content you're looking at, but there's no way to access a page's HTML from Stylus, right? Guessing I could also base it upon the URL since it looks like Stylus lets you do that, but games and movies are both lumped under "portal". I barely ever have my hands in CSS (or HTML, for that matter), so I'm not missing some real obvious solution right in front of my face, am I?

Correct. There are no primary classes from each page in the html so you would have to use the url and create a unique stylesheet for each of them. Textures can be added but you would have to host them locally in your C drive, meaning you would be the only one able to see them.
